Priority Rules Upload
How to prepare and use this upload
Priority rules convert BP Transit Color and HBT into a numeric priority rank. Lower rank values are loaded first in Strict Priority and influence Balanced and Optimum Combination scenarios.
Each row defines one color and HBT combination. Missing priority combinations are automatically assigned the lowest priority after all defined ranks.
Uploading a new priority rules file replaces the current priority_rules table. Business users can change priority behavior without code changes by updating this table.
| Upload Column | Required | Expected Value | Example | What It Controls |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BP Transit Color | Yes | Color text | Green | BP Transit Color from MTS SKU. |
| HBT | Yes | H, B, or T | H | HBT tag from MTS SKU. Blank MTS values are treated as T during input generation. |
| Priority Rank | Yes | Positive whole number | 1 | Lower numbers represent higher priority. |
- Priority rank must be greater than zero.
- Use one active row per BP Transit Color and HBT combination.
- Undefined combinations are not blocked; they receive the fallback lowest priority.
